Assignment 1 - Experiencing Construction

The aim of Assignment 1 is to expose and introduce us as students to various construction elements by visiting construction sites. It also intends to enhance the understanding of principles of construction, sequence of construction activities, importance of basic detailing, construction joints and material application through real life projects. It also creates an opportunity to study the relationship between site and construction method.

To analyzing distinctive sorts of building components and its development procedure, points of interest and materials. To study and record development of various building components, which you have learnt in this module. In particular, you ought to have the capacity to appear and apply your insight in the points of interest of the building development attracting that you are to assemble, along these lines mirroring your comprehension of the development itself.

Site: Sunway Medical Centre (SunMed)
The expansion of Sunway Medical Centre (SunMed). The new 10-storey Tower C, built on part of the 5.88 acres of land adjacent to SunMed, completed its first phase with the opening of the one-stop Cancer & Radiosurgery Centre and Nuclear Medicine Centre in October of 2016.

I was in charge of completing the analysis on EXTERNAL WORK, SITE PREPARATION, TEMPORARY STRUCTURES AND SUPPLIES.
