Assignment 1 - Expression In Sketching

This unit introduces students to the basic skills, required to visually
communicate their design solutions in both 2D and 3D. Learning will be
studio-based and delivered via demonstration and practice with directed
and independent learning.

Objective:
Develop an understanding of the basic principles of drawing using a range of
media to record and communicate visual information.

Learning Outcome:
On successful completion of this module the student will be able to:
CLO 1: Communicate design idea & process using freehand sketching &
rendering technique

Assignment 1a - Sketching & Contouring

In-Class exercise. Pencil 2H & 2B.
Observing closely on selected objects & produce sketches of the objects
outside & inside with taking good care at all the details. Apply contouring
method for rendering. Demo detail brief will be shown during class.

Submission Requirements:
Paper : A3 size of catridge paper
Media : Range of pencils
Submission : 3.00pm @ 05th APRIL 2017
